We are extremely proud and grateful of the families of St. Oswald’s Primary for the amount of toys collected for our Marie Curie Toy Appeal. The volunteers for Marie Curie were overwhelmed at the amount of toys collected and said this was the most they had ever seen. We have even made it into the Liverpool Echo! It took a van two trips to take all of the toys to the collection centre and we are awaiting a total on the amount raised through this appeal. We would like to send a huge thank you out to the families of St. Oswald’s for rising up to the challenge set before them. Thank you also to all of our school councillors who raised awareness of the appeal throughout school and helped with loading the van on the day. We hope that these toys may help to make Christmas better for all those who will benefit.

As always, the families of St. Oswald’s Primary School have risen to the challenge set before them. We are absolutely overwhelmed at the sheer amount of toys that have been donated. It is important to us as a school to demonstrate the Gospel Values which we aim to live by. We hope that these toys may go towards helping those who are not as well off as ourselves and aid the mission of the Marie Curie charity.
