We planned our own ‘Maths and Science Trail’ around our KS1 and KS2 playgrounds which parents, grandparents and carers could do with their children. It encouraged us all to see the maths and science, which is at our very front door.
Year 6 children wrote a selection of maths problems based on the maths and science around us. All year groups had the opportunity to have a go at the trail and then we invited parents, grandparents and carers into school, to try to solve the challenges with their child.
We had a great turn out. Thank you to all who joined in with such enthusiasm.
