Year 2 loved number fun day!
We used Maths Apps in the morning to explore direction and to do multiplication games.
Then, in partners, we played some problem solving games. They were great fun!
We also set a shop up in the middle of year 2 and played shop with the coins we had been learning about that.
In the afternoon we had great fun doing active Maths in the hall. This was a great way to keep fit as well as practise our previous learning.
Finally, we made our own board games which had lots of tricky questions on them.
We had a great day, and to add to the fun we dressed up in Maths related costume. Some of us wore patterns, some wore numbers on their tops, and also some children put maths signs on their clothes.
We hope we have another Maths fun day really soon!
