A message from Mr Mosaid

Hello 1MD,

I hope that you are all keeping well and staying safe? I just wanted to write a short message to you to check that you are taking care of yourselves and your families and are keeping happy and healthy at home.

Why not use this time to learn a new skills, maybe to learn how to tie your shoe laces, tell the time or just to try something new? I would love to hear about something new that you have tried since you have been home so, if you can, please write a letter back as I would love to hear from you all. Let me know what you have enjoyed most about being at home, how your Easter was and did you manage to complete your 40 Acts of Kindness? What was your favourite Act of Kindness?

If you haven’t already, please remember to check our school website, Twitter and WEDUC for daily challenges. On Monday we have a phonics task, Tuesday is English, Thursday is Maths and Friday is a creative challenge. These will help you to show off how much you have learnt in Year 1 already!

Also, it is very important to stay active whilst you are at home. We worked so hard with the Daily Mile this year, so please try to carry that on at home; just 15 minutes per day would be amazing! On Twitter and WEDUC, I have also been posting an Active Challenge for you try in the house with lots of different skills involved. Why not go through them, try them out and I would love it if you posted videos of you completing the challenges so that I can see how you are getting on.

I really look forward to hearing from you all; remember to check out the school Twitter @stoswaldspriliv or my Twitter @MrMosaid to keep up to date and I hope to see you all very soon.

Stay Safe!

Mr Mosaid
