Dear Parent / Carer
We are holding a Maths Fun day to celebrate the beauty and magic of Maths on Friday 17th June. All children will take part in fun Maths activities such as an outdoor Maths Trail, a Maths relay race and problem solving workshops.
For our Maths Fun Day, we are asking the children to have a go at designing and making their own ‘Maths Hat’ which they can wear to go to school on this day. We will have a small parade during assembly and a prize will go to the best hat in each class.
Have fun; you can be as creative and imaginative as you want, or keep it nice and simple. It would be fantastic to see as many children as possible coming to school wearing their hat on our Maths Fun Day.
