On Tuesday 20th September 2016, 10 lucky Year 6 pupils were chosen to attend a community litter pick and the Everton V Norwich EFL Cup match at Goodison Park.
The children, in partnership with Everton In The Community and Merseyside Community Police, took part in an action packed evening in Walton. An hour and a half before kick-off, the children made the way to the Everton Free School where they were instructed on the evening task of Keeping Merseyside Clean! With face painting and a bright green jacket, the children worked in pairs to pick up litter around the ground receiving a big thanks from many spectators!
The children represented the school perfectly, and St. Oswalds are welcome back to the scheme anytime!
