The NHS Covid-19 vaccination bus is at Asda Smithdown Road, on Saturday 24 April between 10am and 4pm.
Please see attachment for more information NHS COVID-19 Vaccination Bus
If you’re in one of the following groups and you haven’t had your first dose yet, go along and get vaccinated:
- Aged 50 or over
- Clinically extremely vulnerable (you were asked to shield)
- Have an underlying health condition
- Have a learning disability
- Are an unpaid carer
- Are a frontline health and care worker
If you’re younger than 50 you can only have a vaccination on the bus if you’re in one of these groups. This is so that the NHS can focus on people who are most vulnerable to Covid-19 first.
If you’re under 30 and you’re in one of these groups, contact your GP to arrange a vaccination – unfortunately you can’t get vaccinated on the bus.
Only first doses are available on the bus – once you’ve had your first dose, you’ll be invited back for a second 11 to 12 weeks later.
